7 Simple Guidelines for the OPEN FORUM.


**** By continuing to post at Myopenforum.com you agree to these rules, and therefore are subject to following them. We reserve the right to ban anyone who willfully violates the forum rules, access to our forums are a privilege and not a right.****


1. Attacks against another members race, religion, disability, sex, or sexuality are NOT tolerated. No threats of violence or any kind of harm against another member or a members family will be tolerated.


2. We require everyone who post, at Myopenforum to register and provide a real e-mail address. No exceptions. Each member is allowed one login account. Registering with multiple accounts is not permitted.
A. If a member and another family member both post at Myopenforum, then said members need to let the Myopenforum Administrator and staff know
B. If one account is banned then both accounts may, be subject to banning.
C. If you have registered an account and the account has not been approved with in 48 hrs then fell free to E-mail the Myopenforum Administrator to inquire about your account Here


3. DO NOT post any pornographic images, or inflamatory images that may be offensive to the communities members.

4. DO NOT post any Private Communication in any public or private thread. This is not limited too but includes Email, User CP, Private Message, Private Chats. Posts made in Private Threads are not to be copied to any Open Forum and/or the Rumble Room. Private means private and it may not be shared.


5. If the Original Poster (OP) requests Topic to be enforced, the Moderator will control off topic posts, otherwise, off topic posts are allowed.

A. Baiting - Posts or threads that are obvious attempts to take a thread off topic and/or to invoke a confrontation can be deleted by the administrator. If a thread is removed for this reason an infraction will be given to the user. The administrator and moderators will determine if a thread is baiting. Baiting attempts designed to reduce the forums usage, or to create an unpleasant forum atmosphere by a user can result in a ban.
B. Administrators or Moderators can lock or move, any thread they feel is either off topic or violates any of the above guidelines. They will be moved to the rumble room or any relevant private forum.

6. Moderator actions are not to be discussed in thread. Moderator issues should be handled by PM between the Moderator and the thread participant. If the participant has an issue with the Moderator, the participant is to handle it by PM with the MOF Administrator.

7 .Revelation or speculation of any forum member’s identity or personal information is an immediate 6-month ban. This includes linking or pasting personal information from any other website, to this website.
A. However if a member is willing post their own private information, any risk for doing so is assumed by the member.
B. If a member has asked someone to NOT post or use their private information and it’s an on going problem, then contact the Myopenforum administrator and staff; we will handle it.
C. If the Myopenforum Administrator has to get involved it will result in a ban

First Ban - 1 Week
Second Ban - 1 Month
Third Ban - 6 Month

** The Administrator of the Open Forum will interpret if any guideline has been violated, and that decision is final. Only the
Administrator will ban users. The Administrator will determine if a situation with a member warrants a 3 strike rule, or will be
permanently (This overrides the 6 month ban) banned on any offense.

** Moderators can add to the above guidelines for their groups, or sections. However, moderators can NOT remove any
of these guidelines for their groups or sections. All moderators will be established by the Administrator of the Open Forum.
