Yes. It's one of my favorite quotes. Dick the Butcher (one of the rebels) in Henry VI. "The first thing we do, let's kill all the lawyers." The idea here is that lawyers represent law and order in Elizabethan England and to get rid of them helps spread anarchy and rebellion. I don't buy it (the law and order part)
Did you recognize the quote? I think it's Shakespeare.
I LOVE the smell of line fresh sheets. I remember running through the wet sheets, as a kid, on a hot summer day. Also, I remember my grandmother's rub board being ground down so there wasn't any lines!
Just found out, from Snopes, that there was no way a simple box camera could have gotten those angles unless they were in an airplane. Apparently they were professional pictures taken by photographers in the Navy.
I am supposed to spread some green around. I always enjoy your pictures.
Good question. A MUP of another poster possibly? Somebody that gets their kicks impersonating what they consider a stereotype? We've had those before...people that somehow think it's funny to impersonate their ideological opposites...or maybe they think they'll be able to worm their way in while secretly comically deriding the 'opposition'. But they are usually so wedded to their own stereotypical view of their opponents that they are easily discovered. Soaps are supposedly disappearing on TV but we have our own soap right here. WHO is she, really?
You'll notice Carrie Bradshaw apparently doesn't care for me much.
Yeah! Warren Beatty!
Thanks, Mac!
