    Default Church Chat Guidelines

I have tried, since I became moderator of this forum, to leave things wide open. I didn't want to censor anyone from what they had to say for fear that they would say that Christians are supposed to love everyone, why are we censoring their speech.

But the time has come to moderate this forum with a little more adherence to the rules.

I am still agaisnt making this forum private, because I want all to be welcome and to see the love of Christ.

However, the following will not be allowed in Church Chat.

    1. Mocking anyone of faith or belittling of faith. As it is necesarry in the context of topics is one thing, but no outright insulting of any religion or faith.

    2. All topics will now remain topical at the request of the OP. No steering away and hijacking of threads. Especially those of a sensitive nature such as people prayer requests.

    3. No personal attacks, trolling or flaming. No derogatory statements.

    4. There are sections for Chit chat, politics, sports and more...please keep all subjects limited to Church, prayer, faith and religion. Any threads or posts deviating from that will be deleted.

    Thank you for your cooperation.

Feel free to address any concerns you may have with these guidleines.

Thats beause I just made them. We have had several instances lately where people have come to Church Chat and made statements to intentionally mock others and troll and bait them into fighting back. I can only assume they wanted to do that so they could say, that Christians are supposed to be loving and accepting of all.
That is what I want to prevent.

Thanks doc.5, for all your contributions to Church Chat! Hope to see you around!

I just want people to know that I plan on picking up where doc.5 left off. It's important to me that people can come here and voice their opinions without personal attacks on faith or intelligence.

PS - There are a few that probably need to read that closely one more time!
