    Strong outings from Midland Teams (From MRT)


    AFTERSHOCK ROLLS The WTJ 13-1 Aftershock placed first in the Silver Bracket on Jan. 16-18 at the MLK Volleyball Tournament in San Antonio by defeating TX Eclipse 13 White 26-24, 25-23. The coaches for Aftershock are Erin Tucker and Kristen Beck.Team members are Kaitlyn Brown, Nikki Dwyer, Shelby Freeman, Imiley Hawkins, Caddie McCollum, Harlie Moore, Angelica Ramirez and Marisol Soza.



    HAVOC CAUSES SOME IN AMARILLO MVC Havoc 17-1 won the AEV Qualifier Division I Volleyball Tournament in Amarillo on Jan. 15. Havoc compiled a perfect 10-0 record against the competition in the tournament.     OCTANE ON HIGH IN AMARILLO The WTJ 16-1 Octane placed first in Gold over the weekend of Jan. 23-24 at the Crown of Texas Qualifier Tournament in Amarillo by defeating Guns Up from Lubbock in the championship round, 25-17, 25-20.The coaches of Octane are Amanda Herrmann and Doug Pyles.Team members are Claire Berhman, Riley Downing, Alexa Griggs, Channing Harrell, Addie Herrmann, Maddison Morrow, Maddison Schribner and Kristyn Wilbanks.



    TOXIC WINS The Midland Elite Toxic volleyball team won the 13u Gold Championship at the AEV January Jam Qualifier Tournament in Amarillo on Jan. 16-17. Toxic competed against both 13 and 14 year-old teams. This championship qualifies them to play in the regional championship in April.
