Default Big Springs State Of The City Address

    This pisses me off.

Our mayor is giving a "State Of The City Address" in a few days, and to be privy to his self assessment of his job performance you must PAY for admission.

I can't imagine that he would be able to share anything interesting enough to warrant such a speech. But even if he were, what could possibly justify charging for it?

    Russ McEwen is a joke.

The one here in Midland last week was free. You only had to pay if you wanted to eat lunch.

There is, i believe, a lawsuit under way against the city here for violation of open meetings laws.

we will see how that pans out. they need to break up the good old boy network. some of the current city officials are good folks who want to do good work. then there are some who are wanting to line their own pockets, and others who are just riding the clock for the paycheck, accomplshing nothing and blaming everyone else.

This week i got my second notice in the last 6 months that our municipal water supply failed to meet safety requirements. Who the hell is running that department that they cannot get the problem fixed? Nevermind, i know who it is.
