Great young man dies

My oldest son's college roommate died in a car accident last night. Please pray for the family and friends of this wonderful young man.

Thanks. Seth was like a son to me. He and my son were like brothers. Life long friends since 3rd grade..........

Thanks SE, my son is devasted, feels like he should have done something or should do something. I told him at this point there is nothing he can do.........its very hard, they were so close. Like brothers.......

Well from what i've read it appears the driver went off an on ramp at over 100mph and fell over the side.........I assume he never got to the ramp? or was going up the ramp? I guess maybe going up it? I don't know all the details yet.

I can't get on facebook at work to see if his friends/family have posted anything on it yet. But here is the first article about it.........

Looking at Satellite photos and comparing them to the pics I think I can see what happened. There is a big flyover bridge that takes you from South bound I 5 over to east bound State Highway 54. He had to have come off of that bridge. If he was doing 100 as stated then he was going to fast for that sharp a turn. What a waste. Truly sorry for your loss.

Thanks for looking at it and letting me know, I just had no idea really other than what i've read. My son is so torn up he is not really talking about it yet and I did not want to push for too many details. And yes 100 is way too fast, I read the posted speed is 50mph...........

I can tell you that my experience from living and driving in Southern California, the roads are driven like all the others, faster than they should. I saw the pictures and the accident looked horrific. A Corvette is a very unpredictable vehicle. RIP boys..
