Thanks, yesterday was a bad day. But time will move on and we will all learn to live with this. I wish I was not so far away from my son right now, but he is a grown man and has his own life. All I can do is be here if he needs me.

They are waiting on the Navy at this point. Not sure how all that works............

There are some hard days ahead for everyone who knew and loved Seth. Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers. God Bless.

Thank you for the update. I can only imagine how hard it is on his family and friends, and how hard it is for you being away from your son right now.

Prayers for Brians family also. It is a hard time for the loved ones they leave behind. May God comfort them all.

My deepest condolences to those who lost a loved one and a special friend.

I found this poignant tribute to Seth's life and the wonderful person he was:

Thanks I sent that to Michael.........he just can't find any relief from the grief other than to work himself 12-14 hours a day. He said his fellow officers on his shift have been great, they are all there for him, that is good, its stressful enough on his job, but then to add this on top of it, well I was worried to say the least. It is hard to watch your child suffer such devastation and not be able to help. Seth was one of those people that if you met him once you were a friend, he was a wonderful person, they just don't make them like him and the guys from the 144 in Stephenville, Tx. A WONDERFUL bunch of young men.

Death is final and there is nothing we can do for Seth now, but to love him, miss him, cherish our memories of him and wait to see him again one day. RIP Seth, until we see you again!

I have been to far too many funerals for the friends of my children. Nothing in this life is harder than burying a child. I wish you and all involved nothing but the strength needed to get through this.
