Martin Blea Jr. | Visit Guest Book
On November 15, 1993, Martin Sr. and Angie Blea were blessed with their son Martin Blea, Jr. (Blea-Baby Marty). For 17 years he brought great joy to his family and friends with his joyful spirit and loving heart. On May 21, 2011, he was called to be with his Heavenly Father, but his memories will always remain in the hearts of those who loved him, especially his family. Martin is survived by his parents, Martin Sr. and Angie Ramirez Blea both of Midland. He will always be "Baby Marty" to his three brothers, Michael David Torres of Midland, Zachery Blea and Justin Blea both of Washington State; and his two sisters, Raquel Torres and Linda Blea both of Midland. He was truly loved and spoiled by his paternal grandparents, Gilbert and Erlinda Blea of Midland, and maternal grandmother, Consuelo Ramirez of Hereford, Texas. Waiting for him in Heaven are his paternal grandfather Antonio Ramirez; his aunts and uncles George Ramirez, Juanita Ramirez, and Elva Ramirez. Blea was a tremendous achiever. His dreams and goals were many, but his main goal was to make people around him smile, and bring laughter and joy into their lives, which he truly accomplished. He was loved by all the people whom he touched. Blea was a junior with the MISD, but his great efforts in achieving brought his credits up to where he would have graduated earlier. His parents will he honored to receive his graduating certificate during a Friday ceremony. Blea had so many interest, among them welding. He had just completed a welding course through Midland College. In Blea's life there was never a dull moment. If he was not at his job at Casita Gerardo, he was out with his dad four- wheeling or helping dad clean the yard and pool, so he could jump in afterwards. He enjoyed sports, hanging around his church youth group, and the many, many friends he had. He truly enjoyed life, trying to learning everything. He left a great impression to all- his smile and craziness will always be remembered, but we know he will wait for us with his open arms and smiles when we see each other again, and what he had set out to do will be accomplished with his heavenly Father. Rosary will be held tonight at 7:00 p.m., Heavenly Gate Chapel. Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, May 26, 2011, at 10:00 a.m., at San Miguel Arcangel Catholic Church, with Father Frank Chavez officiating. Interment will follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens. Arrangements were made with Heavenly Gate Funeral Home. Family messages and condolences may be emailed to: heavenlygate@suddenlinkmail.com.
